We are changing the home page to let you know I had decided some time ago to make a DVD of Nuno O teaching at his home and some tape (a little) outside Portugal, including one fun time where a school master horse is playing with the rider learning F/C's. I have many hours of good quality old tapes and feel I can make them into an extension of the book "The Truth in the Teaching of Nuno Oliveira".

These are my personal tapes taken at Avessada often at 6:00am when he trained young horses etc before classes.

UPDATE: The problem with the gremlin in transferring the video to DVD has been solved, but the 2 DVD's won't be ready until the 3rd week in June. I have to go and do some teaching, however finishing the DVD's is #1 on the priorities when I get home in early June.

First will be basics inc shoulder and half pass F/Cs etc and a 2nd one, P and P, spanish walk and in hand including a magic time with a young horse learning Piafffe and when he is doing it N O takes his hand of the rein and has such a rapport that the young horse continues in Piafffe. For me, a magic moment!

The horses in the tapes are the normal horses he used, Andalusian, Alter Real, Anglos NOT big moving competition horses and one in particular is a little young Andie he trained for a young child to ride. He taught it the basics (with minimal impulsion and movement) and the f/c's and p and p and spanish walk so that when the child matured and could do this the horse was already trained.

So please do not be critical of the horses small movement, he had more movement and impulsion, but the child could never have coped! After all he always said "it is a great trainer who can train a horse for someone else to ride."

These tapes will be available the 3rd week in June and will be AU$60.00 each plus postage (approx AU$7.00) and the order form has now been changed so we can accept orders, but no card will be debited until they are ready to send. I am, like everyone else, getting older *Smile!* and feel I should share these tapes to help horses with their classical training which is fantastic basics also for competition riders and horses with bigger movement.

It is clear and simple and brief, mostly with his voice. I hope you can enjoy them as much as I did taking them and looking at them over the years.
